HIC Announcements

Everything that happens at HIC is the result of the work of countless volunteers.  For this we thank God!  As HIC prepares for the summer months where so many of us are in and out of Hanoi, we would like to fill our leadership schedule as much as possible ahead of time for the months of June, July, and August.  If you know you will be around for any of that time and are willing to help out, please do!  We need volunteers for everything–Sunday school teachers/assistants, service leaders, music leaders, altar setup, and someone to give the homily.  Support and information is available for all roles, so if you have never tried before, don’t be afraid!  Click here to see the current leadership schedule.  If you would like to sign-up, please email belong@hanoichurch.com.  THANK YOU!

This coming Sunday, May 5, HIC welcomes all parents and teachers of the Sunday school program for a brief meeting after church to finalize Sunday school plans for the summer while also discussing some upcoming issues (not the least of which is the departure of the Sunday school coordinator, Mary Ettner).  Please come to give your ideas!

Did you know that nowadays most of HIC’s visitors find us via our website?  HIC is thus looking for a creative and motivated Hanoi-based volunteer who understands the identity of HIC to take on the administration and development of our website.  We need someone who can not only work with what is there, but also push the website into greater functionality according to the needs of a growing and thriving HIC.  Candidates will need to be skilled in the WordPress platform and PHP.
